God, I’m so lit up with gratitude this morning.

You’ve shown me the number 711 my whole life—and today, on 7/11/25, I finally felt its message land in my bones. You brought me a gift in the wee hours… an awakening about this wild, sacred life I’ve chosen. And for the first time in a long time, I truly understood how precious this freedom is.

Lately, I’ve been feeling like an outsider.
I sit at cafés and watch people come and go—lattes in hand, conversations flowing—and I sit there with Cooper on our little bench, whispering to myself:
“I’m just a camper. I’m homeless.”

But I’ve been correcting that voice.
“No, I’m a SoulSteader.”
And this morning, I finally believed it.

It hit me: all these people coming and going might be carrying invisible weight. Maybe they’re stressed about money. Maybe their relationship is crumbling. Maybe they’re buried in expectations or exhaustion or obligations they can’t even name.
And I—despite the unknowns—don’t carry that.

Yes, I’ve had stress.
Yes, I’ve panicked over money.
But God, you’ve shown me over and over—you always provide.
So today I choose to lay that burden down.

Because the truth is: I’m free.

No partner holding me back.
No friend discouraging the dream.
No one’s comfort zone keeping me tethered.

That’s the beauty of aloneness:
You get to follow your soul—not someone else’s fear.

Maybe the “homeless” have it right after all.
It’s a question worth sitting with.

And I have been sitting with so much lately. Letting go of what no longer fits. Yesterday I donated items that were taking up precious space—not just in my Jeep, but in my energy field. If I ever want those things again, I can find them. But right now, I’m building a lighter life. A life where everything I carry has a purpose. Where even my clothes don’t drain me with every pack and unpack.

That, too, is a kind of liberation.

And then—like grace—my neighboring campers shared that they do this full-time. I didn’t feel so alone in that moment.
People are choosing this way of life.
Choosing land. Choosing simplicity. Choosing themselves.

They’re ditching the four walls. Ditching the costs.
Ditching the suffocating hustle and the endless hoops.

Today also brought me a tiny, perfect miracle: I found my new home base for coffee, a bagel, and Wi-Fi.

It is a coffee shop outside of Taos that offered the simplicity I needed. Every other café I’d been to felt chaotic, overpriced, or overrun. But this one? Spacious. Peaceful. Accessible. I got my coffee and bagel with cream cheese for just $7.

That may sound small, but in this life, it’s everything.

I’m so, so grateful for these everyday gifts that whisper:
You’re cared for. You’re provided for. You’re on the right path.

So today, I say thank you.
